Advocate's Profile

Joyce Korir is a licensed Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Beside private practice, she continues to work with highly experienced lawyers in the fields of Marital and Family law, Sports and Entertainment law, and Life, Legacy and Estate planning. Her work covers a wide range of divorce matters; complex cases involving substantial financial assets, contested matrimonial property, collaborative divorce and matters involving children in divorce proceedings.

Joyce currently holds a post at a Sports and Entertainment law firm, gaining further experience in Transactional law, Business law, Intellectual Property (Trademarks and Copyrights), Alternative Dispute Resolution, Name, Image and Likeness (NIL), Family and Estate planning law. Her other experience includes working with lawyers who represent foster parents and relatives seeking custody of children in cases where parents have been found unfit in matters involving child welfare authorities.

Born and raised in Iten, Joyce graduated from Kabarak University in Nakuru in 2021 and later earned her Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law in Nairobi. She was admitted to the Roll of Advocates (Kenyan Bar) in 2024. Joyce is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the East Africa Law Society (EALS).
